Future Doctors Summer Camp

One of the most important pillars of the health system all over the world and in Oman are the Medical doctors. They are the leaders of change and development of a successful and effective health care system that aims to serve the community and humanity. With that believe Sultan Qaboos University-Medical Student Group (SQUMSG) had a goal to participate in developing the future Omani doctors to be leaders of change and to equip them with knowledge and expertise that is not touched upon in the normal medical degree curriculum. Omani medical students will have the chance to meet students from all over the world who have experience in such topics to open forums of discussion and come up with solutions and work on projects in a very student friendly environment.

With that the Medical Student Group would happily announce the organization of the 

(Future Doctors Summer Camp) from the period (28/8 till 1/9-2013)

Over a period of 5 days the participants will be amazed with lots of trainings in many topics to develop their leadership skills and their knowledge. Some of these amazing trainings include Training New Trainers (TNT), Global Health workshop, and many other exciting trainings delivered by international medical students certified by the International Federation of medical Students associations (IFMSA).This great event will be held in Sultan Qaboos University campus. Accommodation, catering, transportation and a great social program will be all provided all for just 10 Omani Rials!!

120 students will be accepted, so hurry up and register seats are limited!!
